CLEVELAND, Ohio – Through three rounds of pool play during the first day at the 2019 NCAA Fencing Championships, the sixth-ranked Duke fencing team is currently in 10th place in the team standings with 24 points.
Columbia holds first place with 61 points, followed by Penn State (56), Harvard (51), Notre Dame (49) and Princeton (45) round out the top five.
Representing the Blue Devil men on the strips today was senior Bryn Hammarberg (epee), junior Eoin Gronningsater (foil) and sophomores Brycen Rushing (foil) and Ping Ping Kitsiriboon (saber).
