RANCHI, India – The USA Field Hockey women's national team is off a perfect start, going 3-0 in pool play at the FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifier. Former Blue Devils Leah Crouse and Jillian Wolgemuth are representing Duke on the U.S. squad on their quest to qualify for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Former Duke standout Rose Tynan also is taking part in the Olympic qualifier tournament, playing for New Zealand. Tynan and the Black Sticks went 1-2 in group action with Tynan starting all three games.
The United States opened the tournament with a massive 1-0 victory over host and sixth-ranked India.
