CARMEL, Calif. – The Duke men's golf team secured another top-five finish on Tuesday afternoon, finishing at 9-under, 855, at the Cal Poly Invitational, held at The Preserve. The Blue Devils concluded the fall portion of their schedule having finished in the top-five in each of the team's events.
HOW IT HAPPENED: DAY TWO
- The second round was completed on Tuesday morning, with Duke finishing at 2-under, 286, for the second round. In the third round, the Blue Devils shot 5-under, 281, as a team.
- Luke Sample restarted his second round on the 17th hole, his ninth hole of the round, and immediately made birdie.
