WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Duke wrestling program (3-4) concluded its Mid-Atlantic road trip on Sunday, dropping a 25-19 decision to Hofstra and a 22-18 result to American at Bender Arena.
In the opening dual match, Hofstra (1-2) rode wins from their three ranked wrestlers to build an early advantage. However, sophomore Logan Agin started a comeback, with his third consecutive win by fall, defeating Jacob Moon to shave the lead to 12-6.
Redshirt sophomore Drake Doolittle added an important decision to cut deficit even further, while redshirt senior brothers Josh Finesilver and Matt Finesilver each recorded wins by tech fall.
