LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Following a quick turnaround, Duke field hockey could not overcome Louisville's two-goal third quarter as the Blue Devils dropped a 3-1 decision on Sunday afternoon at Trager Stadium in a non-conference matchup.
The Blue Devils fall to 0-2 after opening weekend and 0-1 in ACC action while the Cardinals remain undefeated at 2-0.
"I couldn't be prouder of the energy they brought and to be on the front foot to put the game on Louisville – for in my opinion, the majority of the game," said head coach Pam Bustin.
