CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The eighth-ranked Duke women’s soccer team concluded the Carolina Nike Classic with a 2-0 loss against No. 2 North Carolina, played in front of a sellout crowd at UNC Soccer and Lacrosse Stadium in Chapel Hill, N.C.
With the loss, the Blue Devils move to 1-1-0 on the season, while the Tar Heels improve to 2-0-0 on the campaign.
“We have to create more,” said head coach Robbie Church. “They’re very good, and that’s the standard. We have seen our standard. This is still a young group of ours and they are growing.
