COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Duke women's basketball team traveled to fifth-ranked South Carolina Thursday and dropped an 89-46 decision at Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, S.C.
Duke (7-4) was paced by sophomore Miela Goodchild with 11 points, while graduate Kyra Lambert added eight points and six rebounds.
The Blue Devils got off to an early start hitting three out of their first four shots and led by as many as four after Lambert drained a three-pointer. Neither team would lead by more than four in the first quarter, while Duke trailed, 16-14, after 10 minutes.
