CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Duke dropped a 4-0 decision to No. 6 Virginia on Friday afternoon at the Virginia Tennis Facility.
With the win, the Cavaliers improve to 14-2 and 8-0 in ACC action, while the Blue Devils dip to 7-6 and 3-2, respectively.
Virginia started doubles play with a 6-3 victory on court three after Jeffrey von der Schulenburg and Iñaki Montes De La Torre defeated the rookie tandem of Andrew Dale and Faris Khan. The Cavaliers then clinched the doubles points a few minutes later when Ryan Goetz and Chris Rodesch beat Luca Keist and Edu Güell, 6-4, on court two.
