SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The second-seeded Blue Devils are set to open play in the 2023 ACC Softball Championship on Thursday against 10th-seeded Georgia Tech at the Melissa Cook Softball Stadium in South Bend, Ind. First pitch is slated for 5 p.m.
No. 6 Duke closed out an impressive regular season by setting a program record in regular season wins with a 43-9 ledger. In addition, the Blue Devils posted a 19-5 mark in conference play. Duke concluded the regular season in strong fashion by sweeping Pittsburgh, 12-3 and 12-4, in the series finale doubleheader.
