Blue Devils Enter Final Round Third Overall

PALOS VERDES, Calif. – For the second straight day, the Duke women’s golf team carded a three-over-par, 287, in the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge and enters the final round in third place at the 6,017-yard, par 71 Palos Verdes Golf Club in Palos Verdes, Calif.

Florida turned in a 12-under-par, 275, Monday to claim the overall lead with a three-under-par, 565. Southern California (567), Duke (574), Arizona State (575), UNLV (578), UCLA (579), Alabama (580), Northwestern (585), San Diego State (585), California (588) and Arizona (588) rounded out the top 11 teams.

At one point on the afternoon, the Blue Devils were only two shots behind Florida, but Duke dropped five shots over the final three holes as winds started picking up and temperatures fell.
