SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – For the fifth time out of six years since match play was instituted at the NCAA Women's Golf Championship, Duke has advanced to the match play portion as the Blue Devils placed second in stroke play with a 3-over-par 1,155 at the 6,399-yard, par 72 Raptor Course at Grayhawk Golf Club.
Duke carded the tied for third-best round Monday with a 1-over, 289, and finished behind Stanford (1,142). Rounding out the top eight teams to advance to match play was Oklahoma State (1,157), Ole Miss (1,159), Texas (1,161), Auburn (1,170), Arizona State (1,173) and Arizona (1,173).
