DURHAM, N.C. – Goalkeepers Gabbe Cadoux and Chase Henriquez combined for a season-high 16 saves and sophomore attacker Charlotte North turned in a hat trick but the 12th-ranked Blue Devils dropped a 15-7 decision to fourth-ranked Notre Dame Sunday at Koskinen Stadium.
In a matchup of the nation’s top two draw control percentage teams, the Irish came away with an overwhelming 16-7 advantage in the category. Notre Dame also finished 12-of-14 on clearing attempts while the Blue Devils (9-6, 2-4 ACC) went 11-for-20.
“Really disappointed in our effort today,” said head coach Kerstin Kimel.
