DURHAM, N.C.— On Sunday evening at Koskinen Stadium in Durham, N.C., the Duke and Wake Forest women's soccer squads played 110 minutes without a goal as the ACC match finished in a 0-0 draw. This came 10 days after the Blue Devils and Demon Deacons combined for seven goals in the season opener.
For the first time in school history, the Blue Devils opened the season with three straight overtime matches and moved to 1-0-2 overall and 0-0-2 in ACC action.
"We were timid in the attacking third [today]," said Duke head coach Robbie Church.
