DURHAM – The Duke men's soccer team defeated UNC Asheville, 3-0, in an exhibition match on Sunday afternoon. The Blue Devils, ranked No. 4 nationally in the preseason poll, used goals from Ruben Mesalles, Andrew Myerson and Sebastian Docters to pick up the win in their first preseason action of the 2023 season.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The two teams played a full 90 minutes on Sunday, after playing only 20 minutes at UNC Asheville on Saturday afternoon before inclement weather forced a postponement.
