HIGH POINT, N.C. – Duke men's soccer closed out a three-game road swing with its second consecutive exhibition game victory Tuesday night, following a 2-0 win at No. 24 High Point at Vert Stadium.
Sophomores Miguel Ramirez and Thorleifur Ulfarsson scored for the Blue Devils, while goalies Grant Farley, Eliot Hamill and JT Harms combined to make four saves and pitch the first shutout of the season.
In a back-and-forth opening 10 minutes, it was High Point that registered the game's first strong scoring chance.
