DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke women's basketball team started strong on the road Sunday at Miami and went on to cruise to a 74-55 victory over the Hurricanes at the Watsco Center in Coral Gables, Fla. The Blue Devils collected their sixth win over the last eight games and second straight road tally.
Duke improved to 13-10, 7-5 in the ACC, while Miami dropped to 12-11, 4-8.
Graduate Haley Gorecki registered another outstanding all-around game notching her second straight double-double with 13 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists and three steals in 39 minutes. Redshirt freshman Mikayla Boykin tied a career high with 15 points, while junior Jade Williams added a season-high 16 points as five different Blue Devils reached double-digit scoring.
