EUGENE, Ore. – Duke kicked off the first day of the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships Wednesday at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Graduate student Daniel Golubovic represented the Blue Devils in the decathlon while senior Connor Hall competed in the finals of the men's pole vault.
Golubovic, competing in his first NCAA decathlon in a Duke uniform, concluded the first five events in 22nd with 3,660 points.
The Los Angeles, Calif., native kicked off the first day of competition with a time of 11.34 in the 100m to collect 786 points.
