NEW YORK CITY – The Duke men’s and women’s track & field teams turned in a strong group performance during the first day of the Armory Track Invitational Friday in New York City.
Highlighting the Duke field contingent was redshirt senior Teddi Maslowski as she placed first in the women’s long jump college division with her distance of 20-1.50 (6.13m), a season best for the school-record holder. Also logging a top-three finish for the Blue Devils in the field events was fellow multi-event athlete Tanner Johnson, claiming runner-up honors in the men’s pole vault college division with a personal-best height of 15-5.
