DURHAM – Duke women's tennis played in several back-and-forth matches and wrapped up the second day of action at the Fall Ranked Spotlight in Cary, N.C., and the Kitty Harrison Invitational, in Chapel Hill, N.C.

With no main draw singles matches remaining, the Blue Devils came out hungry in the consolation and compass draws. Chloe Beck, a junior ranked No. 28 nationally, got back to what she did so often during the 2020-21 season, beating an ACC opponent in No. 111 Jaeda Daniel of NC State.
