MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – After an opening 36 holes of play at the General Hackler Championship, the Blue Devils' men's golf team is in ninth place entering the final round on Tuesday morning. Duke sophomore Kelly Chinn and freshman William Love led the way on Monday and are currently in a tie for 24th place on the leaderboard.
HOW IT HAPPENED: ROUND 1
- As a team, Duke shot a 1-under 287 in the first round.
- Kelly Chinn recovered from an early bogey and picked up four birdies over his next 12 holes to help the sophomore move to 2-under for his round.
