FURMAN, S.C. – The Duke women's tennis program started its fall slate on Friday, completing day one of the Furman Invitational at the Mickel Tennis Center. Each Blue Devil competed in two doubles matches and one singles match on day one.
The day began with doubles and saw the four Blue Devil duos go 7-1 on the day. The win of the day came early in flight one, with the first-time pairing of Chloe Beck and Ellie Coleman defeating the No. 41 ranked team in the nation of Emma Antonaki and Tamara Racine of Mississippi State, 6-2.
