MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Duke women's golf team wrapped up the Moon Golf Invitational on Tuesday with an even par round of 288, as freshman Rylie Heflin and sophomore Phoebe Brinker shot 1-under in the final round at the 6,417-yard, par-72 Classic Course at Suntree Country Club.
Heflin posted her second under-par ledger of her short career with a 71, while Shepherd totaled her team-leading seventh even or under-par score of the season with a 72.
As a team, Duke placed tied for 10th with an 882, but shot only 4-over-par over the final 36 holes after a slow start.
