DURHAM, N.C. – Duke softball picked up its first ACC victory of the season with a 6-2 win over Notre Dame on Sunday afternoon at the Duke Softball Stadium.
With the win, the Blue Devils improved to 15-4 to avoid the series sweep as the Fighting Irish fell to 12-6 and 2-1. Redshirt junior Jazmine Moreno led Duke at the plate with a career-high 3-for-3 performance, including a double and three RBI, while sophomores Deja Davis and Caroline Jacobsen each recorded two hits.
