DURHAM, N.C. – Members of the Duke Football program – aided by the program’s official equipment truck – travelled on Wednesday afternoon to Lumberton, N.C., to deliver donated items for Hurricane Matthew relief initiatives.
"It means a lot because I know so many people impacted by the storm," senior wide receiver Kane Banner, a Lumberton native, said. "I know a lot of people who are out of homes and their families out of homes. Being able to come back to my hometown and give what we were able to means so much.
