SHREVEPORT, La. – For the first time in program history, Duke football has arrived in Shreveport, La. Saturday afternoon the Blue Devils landed in the Bayou State to begin 2018 Walk-On’s Independence Bowl preparations.
Duke departed from campus around 10:30 a.m. to head to Raleigh-Durham International Airport for its charter flight to Shreveport. Upon arriving around 2 p.m. ET, the Blue Devils boarded their charter buses to take them to their hotel for the week – the Hilton Shreveport Convention Center.
