DURHAM – The Duke men's soccer program recently convened as a group to deliver its yearly awards at the team banquet. Several highly decorated Blue Devils added more awards to their growing portfolios.
Sophomore Peter Stroud was named the team's Most Valuable Player for the second straight season, sophomore Thorleifur Ulfarsson was tabbed as Offensive Player of the Year and senior Ian Murphy was named Defensive Player of the Year. Shakur Mohammed was selected as the team's Freshman of the Year, while sophomore Krew Verratti was awarded the John Rennie Coaching Award.
