CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Kicking off the 2018 indoor season with the Dick Taylor Carolina Cup, the Duke men’s team totaled 37 points while the women’s team registered 40, as both teams earned second place on Saturday afternoon in the Eddie Smith Field House on the campus of North Carolina.
North Carolina took home the title in both the men’s (49 points) and the women’s (60 points) standings.
Both Duke squads move their records to 2-1 overall and 1-1 against conference foes. N.C. State (men-35, women-26) and East Carolina (men-32, women-25) rounded out the standings in third and fourth, respectively.
