NEW YORK, N.Y. – Former Duke University women’s basketball All-America Chelsea Gray was named one of the WNBA’s elite on Friday as the Los Angeles Sparks guard was selected to the 2017 All-WNBA Second Team following a vote from a national panel of sportswriters and broadcasters.
Voting for the All-WNBA First and Second Teams was conducted at the conclusion of the regular season. Players were selected by position and received five points for each first team vote and three points for each second team vote.
Gray, in her third WNBA season, averaged a career-high 14.
