Blair Holliday is now a senior at Duke University and although he is not playing football anymore he is still involved with the team and his perseverance has been honored. Holliday has received the Wilma Rudolph Student-Athlete Achievement Award which is given to student athletes who have overcome great odds, whether they be physical, personal, or academic, to achieve success while participating in college sports.

In 2011, Holliday’s freshman season, he played in 10 games and caught just three passes. But going into his sophomore season it was expected that Holliday would be a starter until he was involved in a horrific jetski accident on July 4, 2012.
