DURHAM, N.C. – For the second straight year, Duke redshirt freshman Lyneé Belton has seen her season come to an end early as the 6-3 forward had surgery Thursday, Feb. 18. Belton had her left meniscus debridement performed by team physician Dr. Alison Toth and will have a four to six week recovery.
In the Florida State contest on Feb. 11, Belton suffered the injury. She had competed in 20 games this season, while starting four. Belton was averaging 2.7 points and 3.0 rebounds. A native of Clinton, Md., Belton also suffered a torn ACL of her left knee Dec.
