TARRAGONA, Spain – Following four days of action at the Mediterranean Games in Tarragona, Spain, Duke University rising junior Ana Belac will be heading back with two bronze medals with her home country of Slovenia.
The 2018 Honorable Mention All-America, Belac carded rounds of 69, 77, 68 and 72 for a two-under, 286 to finish third overall and two strokes behind the leaders Marta Sanz Barrio and Angelica Moresco, who tied for first with a 284.
As a team, Slovenia placed third overall with a three-under, 573. Spain took home the gold medal with a nine-under, 567, while Italy was second with a seven-under, 569.
