DURHAM – Duke closer Charlie Beilenson added his third First Team All-America honors on Friday morning, being selected to the ABCA/Rawlings team as a relief pitcher.
The righty has now earned first team honors from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association and Perfect Game so far this postseason.
Beilenson, the six-foot closer from Los Angeles, Calif., is a Stopper of the Year Finalist following his second season in a Blue Devils uniform. A year removed from setting the program record for appearances with 39 in 2023, Beilenson tied sophomore James Tallon for the single season saves record at Duke with 12.
