DURHAM, N.C. – Former Duke University alumnae Alana Beard and Chelsea Gray will open the 2017 WNBA finals Sunday, Sept. 24 as the Los Angeles Sparks will face top-seeded Minnesota Lynx live on ABC at 2:30 p.m. The game will be played in Williams Arena at the University of Minnesota and is a best-of-five series.
The Duke duo will look to claim their second straight WNBA title, but will have to go up against the Lynx once again, with Minnesota holding the home court advantage.
Minnesota will host the first two games, before heading to Los Angeles for game three.
