DURHAM, N.C.— Recently Duke University alumna Amanda Blumenherst stopped by campus and the Blue Devil Network caught up with the women’s golf three-time National Player of the Year.
Blumenherst, who graduated in 2009 with a degree in history along with a minor in English and theatre studies, was also a four-time All-America, three-time Golfstat award winner and four-time All-ACC selection at Duke. She became the first NCAA women’s golfer to win three National Player of the Year and Golfstat awards. Blumenherst was a two-time member of the U.S. Curtis Cup squad and won the 2008 U.S. Women’s Amateur.
