DURHAM, N.C.—Duke junior attackman JP Basile scored three goals and handed out five assists to lead the eighth-ranked Blue Devils to an 18-8 victory against Jacksonville in midweek men's lacrosse action. The win is the fourth straight for Duke with one more game remaining before ACC play opens.
Basile, coming in off the bench midway through the Richmond game, has been exceptional for the Duke (6-2) attack. The native of Garden City, N.Y., has 19 points in the past four games from five goals and 14 assists. His 14 assists are nearly twice as many as the next closest Blue Devil.
