DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke baseball program opens the Jack Coombs Field gates Saturday, May 5 to welcome over 50 youth on the autism spectrum and their families.
The Blue Devils are partnering with the Duke Center for Autism and Brain Development to host a free baseball clinic bonanza, where participants and their families will watch a home run derby, receive instruction from the Duke baseball players and staff, and have the opportunity to partake in a photo/autograph session.
Head coach Chris Pollard and approximately 20 team members will attend the event and lead drills features in the Blue Devils’ summer camps.
