DURHAM – Duke senior Elizabeth Balogun was tabbed as one of 20 watch list candidates for the Cheryl Miller Award, which recognizes the top small forward in the nation.
A national committee of top college basketball personnel determined the watch list of 20 candidates.
Balogun recently represented her home country of Nigeria in the Tokyo Olympics and comes to Duke after playing the last two seasons at Louisville. The Chattanooga, Tenn., native appeared in 57 contests with 42 starts for the Cardinals and ranked third in the ACC with 43 blocks during the 2020-21 season.
