CHEVY CHASE, Md. — A pair of Duke women's golf incoming freshmen – Sophia Bae and Rylie Heflin – will see action in the U.S. Girls' Junior Championship this week from July 12-17 at the Columbia Country Club in Chevy Chase, Md.
A field of 156 golfers will compete in the championship. Following 36 holes of stroke play July 12-13, the field will be cut to the top 64 golfers for match play. Five 18-hole rounds of match play will determine the finalists who will square off in a 36-hole championship match.
