SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Duke sophomore Grayson Allen was named one of five finalists for the Jerry West Shooting Guard of the Year Award on Tuesday in an announcement by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
The winner of the 2016 Jerry West Award will be determined by a combination of fan votes and input from the Basketball Hall of Fame’s selection committee. Fans are encouraged to visit HoophallAwards.com to cast their votes from March 11-25.
Allen leads Duke and ranks fifth among major-conference players in scoring with an average of 21.5 points per game.
