DURHAM, N.C. – Duke sophomore Grayson Allen continued to build on his decorated 2015-16 season on Wednesday, receiving second-team All-America honors from The Sporting News.
The Sporting News is one of four organizations whose All-America team is used to determine consensus All-America honors, along with the Associated Press, the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and the United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA).
Allen is the 30th Duke player to earn All-America honors under head coach Mike Krzyzewski, and those players have combined earn 44 All-America selections since 1981. Krzyzewski has coached at least one All-American in 28 of his 36 seasons at Duke.
