After going undrafted in the 2016 NFL Draft, former Duke Football All-American Jeremy Cash used the offseason earn a spot on the final 53-man roster for the Carolina Panthers. All-Pro NFL linebacker and Panther’s teammate Thomas Davis had high praise for the former Blue Devil heading into the regular season.
Early in the preseason Davis noticed something special about the undrafted rookie, who reminded him of himself. Thomas Davis was an All-American safety at Georgia before becoming one of the top linebackers in the NFL. Davis describes his transition and relates it to the former Duke safety saying:
