With the loss to Stephen Freakin’ Austin, we realized that an entire generation of fans has grown up without seeing Duke lose to a non-conference rival in Cameron.
And while that’s cool, it also occurred to us that it’s rather extraordinary and that it’s probably a good thing for Duke fans to have a setback now and then. Not that it’s desirable. But it is good to experience humility when you are used to succeeding constantly.
