After the US beat Thailand 13-0, and relished in the big win, Canadian commentator Kaylyn Kyle said this: “As a Canadian we would just never ever think of doing something like that...For me it’s disrespectful, it’s disgraceful ... Hats off to Thailand for holding their head high.”
For this she received death threats which is kind of pathetic. People need to have some decency and sense. That’s just sick.
But we’d like to ask her one question about Canadians and their (largely self-proclaimed) sense of moral superiority: did you say one word about the thousands of Canadians who publicly cheered when Golden State’s Kevin Durant blew out his Achilles tendon, endangering not just the Warrior’s drive for a title but also his extraordinary career?
