DURHAM – Duke attackman Joe Robertson and goaltender Mike Adler both collected weekly accolades after their stellar performances in the 12-11 overtime win over No. 2 North Carolina last week. Robertson was named the ACC Men's Lacrosse Co-Offensive Player of the Week and garnered USILA Team of the Week recognition, while Adler was named the ACC Defensive Player of the Week.
Robertson registered four goals, including the overtime winner, and three assists for seven points to lead the top-ranked Blue Devils to the thrilling victory. In addition to scoring the game-winning goal, Robertson also gave the Blue Devils their first lead of the game at 11-10 to send Duke into the fourth quarter with a one-goal lead.
