DURHAM – Men's lacrosse graduate student Mike Adler has been named Duke's PNC Achievers Student-Athlete of the Week, following his 19 saves in goal to lead the Blue Devils to victory over No. 9 North Carolina this past weekend.
Adler allowed just five goals in No. 15 Duke's 15-6 takedown of rival North Carolina. The Blue Devil had a stellar nine saves in just the first quarter, helping Duke hold on to a 2-0 lead. He added an additional five in the second period as the Blue Devils built their lead to, 5-1.
