There was only one ACC team in action the day after Christmas, and Louisville and Kentucky delivered, as usual. But what an odd game.
Louisville was doing well in the first half until the end when John Calipari got called for a technical. The Cards hit four free throws - two foul shots and two technicals - and took a four-point lead.
Then Kentucky woke up and for a few minutes in both halves, but mostly the first, Louisville fell apart. Trey Lewis had a turnover, Matz Stockman missed a dunk, then fouled eight seconds later, then Rick Pitino got a technical.
