Tony Bennett’s been at Virginia long enough for basketball fans to realize that he’s the real deal. Virginia will be up and down, but as long as he’s there,UVA is very likely to be at Top 20 team and typically higher.
In fact, he’s been successful enough that Virginia fans are disappointed at not making the Final Four, which is a huge change.
Virginia loses three key players from last year - Malcolm Brogdon, Anthony Gill and Mike Tobey.
Big guard Brogdon had a monster senior year, winning both ACC Player Of The Year and Defensive Player Of The Year, the first guy to ever pull that off.
