One of our favorite things about Duke basketball is to look at who’s back and then about December we marvel because it doesn’t matter. The team has been remade and the old stars are no longer thought about. It’s really quite striking when you think about it.
That’s not going to be easy this year.
Zion Williamson and RJ Barrett were both astounding talents and Williamson in particular was transcendent. We’ll miss him - and talk about him - for years.
Aside from those two, Cam Reddish is also gone as is Marques Bolden. All four are now in the NBA.
