ORLANDO, FL – In partnership with the College Football Playoff Foundation’s Extra Yard for Teachers initiative, the Atlantic Coast Conference is recognizing teachers and providing funding for classroom projects in Orlando and the two participating team’s communities as a part of the 2016 Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship Game.
“Education is at the heart of what our league does,” said ACC Commissioner John Swofford. “The ACC is proud to celebrate the teachers and schools that do so much and provide more opportunities in the classroom for children throughout these communities.”
Initiatives have included distribution of DonorsChoose.
