DURHAM, N.C. -- Duke finished off another outstanding season in 2014-15 highlighted by the fifth NCAA Championship for the men’s basketball team under the leadership of head coach . A total of 16 different Blue Devil teams received NCAA Tournament bids, while 11 different teams ranked in the top 10 nationally at one point and 13 squads ranked in the top 25.
A total of 31 Duke student-athletes received All-America distinctions, while 18 earned All-Region and All-District honors. As a rookie for the women’s golf team, Leona Maguire captured the ANNIKA Award and the WGCA National Player of the Year honors, while both Maguire and Jahlil Okafor of the men’s basketball team earned National Freshman of the Year accolades.
